2D DESIGNER’S BOOT CAMPS FOR STUDENTS
FREE of charge and no previous experience necessary!
What is GameForce?
GameForce is an after school program that teaches elementary, junior and senior high school students the fundamentals of making a video game. Innovation PEI is committed to growing the industry by showing students the benefits of a career in the video game industry. At the end of the course students will receive a freeware version of the software used in the program as well as other resources that will enable them to continue with video game development long after the program has ended. As a primary result, we hope students will consider advancing their skills in the video game industry and seek additional education for a career in this exciting field.

FOR TEACHERS:
The program is delivered within the participating school and runs over a 5 day period. The program runs for two hours immediately following the school day. All that is required from a participating school is an available classroom. Internet connections are not required.
FOR STUDENTS:
For students wishing to have the program at your school, please have a teacher or staff member contact Fred Irving, see below:
*Please note that the GameForce program is offered to a maximum of 20 students per week. In cases where the number of desired participants exceeds 20, we ask that a waiting list be created with the additional names in the event that an opportunity arises for that school to receive the program for a second time later in the school year.
